Texas Skies District Cub-O-Ree

What is a Cub-O-Ree? A Cub-O-Ree is a weekend of fun activities for all Texas Skies District Wolves & Bear Cub Scouts. Cubs will participate in rank-appropriate activities led by Texas Skies District Boy Scout Troops.

When is Cub-O-Ree? October 23-25

Where is Cub-O-Ree? Camp Brosig (just north of Sealy)

Who can attend Cub-O-Ree? All BSA registered Wolf & Bear Cub Scouts are invited to Cub-O-Ree. But each Cub Scout MUST have at least one of their parents or guardian in attendance.

The cost is $10.00 per scout in advance & $15.00 if registering on site. All persons attending must have a BSA medical form (Parts A & C) filled out.

Akela's Trail on Saturday, November 7th at Spring Woods High School is our yearly council wide training event that focuses on the Cub Scouting program. Cub Scout leaders and parents are the primary focus for this event, but there is also training for Den Chiefs (older boys) and this year BAT (Basic Aid Training) will be available for Webelos Scouts (these Webelos must have at least one parent attending Akela's Trail). Just thought I'd pass on the news this morning that the Akela's Trail online registration is up and running.

Early registration goes until October 26th... but if you want a T-shirt, looks like you'll have to have your order in by October 15th.
