Join Scouting - The Scout Zone: Good afternoon Boy Scout Unit Leaders and Committee Chairs, Just a reminder, the Meet the Troops Event is coming soon. This is a great opportunity for your troop to promote your unit to new potential scouts. It is scheduled for Saturday, November 14 at the Loomis Center at Memorial Lutheran Church from 1PM to 5 PM. Please make plans to have representatives from your troop manage your troop information table. We encourage you to be prepared to pass along your troop calendar, list of activities, leader information, meeting times and location, etc. Also, please confirm with me or Brian Elsasser at briane4katyscouts@earthlink.net your troop participation. We are also working on the Texas Skies District Troop Information packet and CD that we will pass along to every Webelos II and Pack in the Texas Skies District. Please send the troop information you wish to be included in this packet (Unit leaders, contact info, website, meeting times & location). We want to make sure every Webelos II gets the information they need to transition into Boy Scouts! Thank you for your cooperation.
